225? That is pretty narrow, actually smaller than the tires that came on the stock 16s. It could depend on your backspacing of the rims I guess. But if they are correct for the car, you should be able to go much wider.... I have the pro kit on the Z with 275 and they never rub even on bumpy roads. Also have the pro kit on my rs, and with 245 on the stock 16" rims, there was plenty of room.
If you are talking stictly turning and the tires up front, then I would just say get use to taking wider turns! You're going to have to anyways if you go with anything smaller narrower....

well im not gonna go into this again why i cant go bigger then 225...but on my rims i got 215..which are way to small..like it looks like it barely mounted on the rim...so thats why i want 225..cause i cant go alot bigger of an overall diameter then that...but ya i dont get why they said i cant go 225..like a 225 would just fit the 8.5 wide rim just perfect so i dont get that..like if i couldnt do 225 i shouldnt be able to turn my rims already with the rims alone

it all has to do with your height to width ratio. you could go with a 225 but maybe in a 35 or 40 instead of the stock 45. i had the same problem in my 00 when i dropped it 2 inches with the eibach pro kit. im running 235/45/17 front and the stock 275/45/17 rear both on 17x9's. they look damn close. noone just looking at them can tell the diff. but it was the height of the wheel that caused the rubbing, not the width of the rim. you can run your stock rim, just try finding a shorter tire wall. i know with the abs cars you have to be within 5% of the wheels spinning aspect or it will throw off the abs. hope this helps
