I have the yokohamma AVS ES 100 245/45/17 on my car. I picked up 2 tenths of a second at the track with these tires. Good tires for the price. Kumoho are a little cheeper but do not hook as well. They handle and ride great. They are both AA rated tires. If traction is a issue i would go with the yoks.

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE750's on my IROC and I am very happy with them. However, I don't know how they do in rain or snow since I don't drive the car in rain or snow

i got Fulda Carat Extremos
z rated tire with A traction and tread wear rating of 140 or 180 i believe, i forget but they are soft, i got about 14K miles and driving normally and stretching it sometimes every now and then
its grippy as all hell, and does good in the rain but super in the dry.....
dry traction is good, they hook good on the street, and handling they work good too. scares me enough sometimes how well they grip
snow, forget it... L98 and 2800stall dont like it. LOL
got them a NTB, National tire/battery
109 a piece which is a good price for them, usually 130 a piece or so.

So does anyone have the kumoho's? and do they hook well? that is the tire i'm looking to replace the current cooper cobra's.
bfg, nitto and michelin are great tires. kuhmo and kelly are great for their prices too. i'm not a fan of toyo at all even though i had two sets on the camaro and one on my tow truck i wouldn't buy them again. i absolutely love the pilots over any tire out there but they are overpriced unfortunately.

No you can't but for a little more money I could have got some better tires and been happier but I didn't want to wait for them to come in. By the time I ordered them through my job I would be on 3 flats(to run flat's).
The Yokohama in a 245/50/16 is a good tire for the price. The Fuzion ZRi's are as well. If you just want some tires the Kumho's were a decent choice but if you save up some extra cash just save time and get something better.
Like they say...You get what you pay for!
