Les Schwab tires
mods: sorry if this is the wrong place to post this question.
What do you guys think of "Les Schwab" tire centers? I'm in need of new tires for my daily driver and was thinking of heading down to grab a set of all-seasons. I've seen and read enough ads about these guys whenever I'm down visiting, and they seem like a decent place.
anyone here have good/bad experiences? thanks

Their service is not matched anywhere. They are a great company.
That said, I don't buy tires there, as they don't have the greatest selection of ultra-high-performance tires, and they are a bit on the expensive side.
Their no questions asked repair/replacements though are usualy worth the extra coin. I send my Mom, and other family members there exclusivly when it comes to them getting tires.

they are on the spendy side... mostly to cover the cost of all the free stuff they do. they will also fix ANY flat (as long as it is reparable of course) regardless of where you got the tire FOR FREE. they do ask you to purchase "your next set" from them.
they will try to sell you on "siping"... i ahve had it explained to my brother (2nd year of study to be an automotive engineer, smart kid) and I. the guy at less schwab made a good case for it... but it was BS. don't waste $44 on it...
my brother gave me a nice explination on why it is pointless... but be damned if i can remeber it now
