American Racing Wheels
Does anybody have on their camaro of fbird the american racing wheel REBEL 17 by 9.5 on ?????? An other question, Is the bolt pattern on the third gen 5 by 4.75?????? RIght now you can by a set on ebay for $700
yes the bolt pattern is 5x 4.75 but the rebels in 17x9 or 18x9 used to only be made with 6" of backspacing which may be too much unless spacers are used. They may have more offerings now? Check real hard into the offset. But they look good we have sold some at my work and the finish is very good.

What is the best backspacing that I would need in order to have these wheels, or any other wheels on my car. After the holiday are over, I am going to have quite a few mods done on my 91 vert. Well, now I know that the bolt patern is 4.75 and I can fit 17 by 8 or 17 by 9 on all four corners. The question is what backspacing I need to run any aftermarket wheels on the camaro??? Thanks for your help

Just for a comparison, i ran a set of 17x9.5 ROH ZS wheels front and rear with 5.5" Backspacing. They rubbed a little when you cut the wheel hard but nothing bad.( I also had 1LE brakes which moved the wheel out just a hair so that may make a difference)

yeah, because if you decide to shot-put bare wheels at curbs, that would certainly be a major consideration for which wheel to buy.
If you plan to put them on your car with tires, maybe not so much.
Oz and ARE both have different grades of wheels. If you chuck a forged Oz wheel and a cast ARE wheel at a curb, then yeah, you'll obviously see a major difference.
Do an apples to apples comparison between two cast wheels or two forged wheels, and I doubt you'll see the same kind of differences.
There are only so many ways to make a wheel.
