EXACTLY.... I just want a nice set of wheels that dont require spacers. I also want a wide rear tire with a good lip. Oh the decisions are killing me already. WHAT CANT I JUST LEAVE THINGS ALONE!!!!!!!

Update: after a few days of looking arond for news I think I am going to go with a 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear. I will have to switch back to a 3rd gen rear when doing this. My question now is what backspacing changes need to be made since the wheel is 1/2" narrower then what most everyone runs here?(9.5") I also plan on adding the C5 brakes so I need to take that into consideration when ordering the custom backspacing for the fronts. Maybe Im asking for too much with this but I want the car to track good and have a deeper lip or equal lip on the rear. I just dont want the front wheels to have a deeper lip then the backs. Its looks funny on the GTA wheels

If you want to make sure that the lip is deeper on the back, then run the same bs as the guys running the 9.5's. This way you'll loose the 1/2 of width on the outside lip. Actually, since the new rotor hat will move your hub out almost another 1/4", you could add that 1/4 to the bs also.

I don't know if you've seen pics of mine, but I'm probably gonna tuck mine under about another 1/2" so I can lay it in the weeds. - I'm thinking I'll probably ditch the 10-bolt with the new chassis, so custom axle/housing length won't make a difference.

so is it as easy as placing an order for wheels and giving them just the backspacing desired or do I still need to make sure the offset is correct? I was looking at wheels on nestalagiawheel.com and I emailed them asking the specs on some wheels and this is what they said
18x9 with 6.00 bs and +25 offset and 18x10 with 6.00 bs and + 13 offset.
This is for the JYD wheel.
The reason for 6" BS on the front is to take into concideration the C5 brakes

Do those specs look good or will I have problems with them rubbing or not fitting right?

no, the C5 brake rotor will push the wheel out another 1/4" more then stock. You may be getting confused based off my previous post aout the 6" BS. I was gonna try and use a 6" BS on a 9" wheel to make sure it would not stickout past the fender. The additionally 1/4" from the C5 rotor would theoredically put me at 5 3/4" BS and then I would add one of those stock spacers if need be. I am ditchng this idea since I highly doubt it is possible to get a 9.5" wheel to fit correctly inside the wheel well AND stil use the C5 brakes. The wheel will just stick out too much for my liking. Now I dont know how well a wheel would fit with a 5 3/4"BS but I really dont want to find out the hard way. If I get a chance I may try to make a homemade tool to check it

Your math is backwards. If you would normally need a 6" BS, you would need 6-1/4" with the C5 rotor to end up with the wheel in the same place.

ya I know that. maybe I miss worded it wrong. what I was trying to say is that by going with a 5.75" BS ona 9" wheel AND adding the C5 rotor that my wheel would now sit in the same location as the same wheel with a 5.5"BS.. I think. If I put a wheel with a 5.5" BS on the car with a C5 rotor then the wheel is going to sit in the same place as a wheel with a 5 1/4" BS would on the same car with a stock rotor.... I think. Does that make sense

so now I gotta see if its even possible to get a 9.5"wheel with a 5.75" BS to fit right with the C5 brakes. It shouldntit anything on the inside since a lotof guys run that wide of a wheel with a 5.5" BS which is where my wheel should sit once the C5 brakes are are on. Once I get my car back from the dyno, I will try to ake a tool or buy one from Summit that would allow me to simulate those specs along with a tire profile
