Hey folks, i read through the wheels and tires threads often, but im looking to buy a set of 17" aftermarket wheels that were prviously on a S10. As the information comes in, i will let you know, the only prob is, the guy is 7 hours away, so i cant just go out and have a look for myself. As far as i know, they are 17", for an S10 and similar bolt pattern, and from a company called bonspeed billet.

My question is, if they "fit" on an S10, with maybe 1/2" tucked in past the fender, what will they look like on my firebird? I have all stock suspension, stock ride height (probably the original springs), and im thinking of going 275/40 rear, and 235 or 245/40 front depending on how wide they are.

I know those late S10 rims (similar to the one line irocs) are very nice looking, so if guys have tried that, i could use your feedback. Thanks again.

Right, he did mention 4.75 bolt pattern, (i didnt write that, i figured it was obvious since it was an S10 wheel). In any case, im also aware of the backspacing and width combos, but incase he doesnt know, would anyone know how the wheel will differ in "appearance" from an S10 to a firebird?

ie:
If i put my firebird wheel on an S10, would it stick in or out? What if i put a S10 wheel on my firebird? etc...
