i've got the center caps for the front but they won't fit with over the hub. the hub is too long with the dust cover on there so i'm gonna see if i can find some short dust covers...or maybe just take them off. the center cap for the wheels actually have an o-ring to seal them to the wheels so dust can't get in.

Just hammer the dust cap until it's more flat. I've seen so many cars come in for brake jobs that already have the dust cap dented in from the last mechanic, so that should give you the 1/4" or so clearance that you need.

going out to the track today so i figured i'd put some pictures of my '87 up here for you drag thirdgen guys

greezemonkey, i like the black one.. awesome stance.. just perfect.. too bad i dont have enough room for that low of a drop..
yeah, i know it needs a larger back tire to look right, but i got a killer deal on them and they hook the car so i'm not concerned about it. though i am buying a Red-neck Performance th350 with 4000 stall converter and transbrake...the little 235/60's aren't going to know what to do with that, lol! i'm planning on going back to the 275/60's soon

mw do you run the mud flaps all the time or just at the track? I was thinking about making a set for the track so i dont get rubber all over the paint when its painted.
My car, (needs paint bad)

Friends car.

Yes. But the bad thing is the previous owner put a ford scoop on it. It needs a cowl hood.Originally Posted by mw66nova

i don't know why, but i LOVE that scoop. i hate stick on scoops more than anything, but there's something about that scoop that just looks so right. i'm going to get one that's a little larger in dimension cause i feel like it's just a bit small, but i'm working on getting something...
why, do you not like it? if i was closer, i'd so trade you my lift off cowl for it.
