I have a 1992 base firebird with the sport appearence package so it has the T/A ground effects and the GTA style rims. I just bought four tires from vulcan tire size 215/65/15. Someone told me that the rims on GTA wheels are wider in the back and slimmer in the front. I thought they were both 15 inch rims, but im not so sure now. Can anyone clarify this for me?? Are teh real GTA rims and the firebird style GTA rims the same?

real GTA wheels are 16x8, im not sure about the base GTA style wheels. What tires were on the wheels before?

 

The base bird wheels are 15x7. Same width front and rear. The actual crosslace GTA/TA style wheels are both 16x8 front and rear, but the fronts have a different offset which puts them in a different spot inside the fenderwells.
