I have a stock 87 Z-28 and it has the stock 15" rim's & tires on it, I am in the process of replacing the rims and tires and was wondering if 16's" will fit if so what wheel & tire Combo would work best for me? It is a street car that will be upgraded with 4 way disc brakes, Sway bar upgrades and possibly Tubular A-Arms... Any Suggestions Would Be Greatly Appreciated

The only way you'll have a problem with 16's is if you go crazy with the width (like 10" wide). Heck, even most 17's fit without any issues what-so-ever. I'm going to be getting 17x9.5 with 275/40/17 tires on all fours which fit without any issues.

Instead of going with tubular A-arms get a good set of shocks and springs or at least some SFC (subframe connectors).

Since your thinking about swaybars and your vehicle is only for the street, just stick with the GM bars. They are a ton cheaper than the aftermarket and they are more readily available.

So now I can expand my search. I am still at a loss as to what size tires?? I was thinking something in the 245/45ZR16's or something around there

The stock size on the cars is 245/50R16s. Those would be your best option, IMO. With 17x9s (275/40R17s) you'll need a set of 2" bolt on spacers front/rear or a set of spacers front and a 4th gen rear end. Or, you can find some 17x9s that fit the 3rd gen offset. You can run properly offset 17x8s without spacers. Most use 245/45R17s with those I think.
