i wanted to finally fix my brakes today and realized that i missplaced my wheel lock key. how can i get them off without breaking the lug. really dont care about the lugs in the front since the rotors have lugs on the. but dont want to break the backs. is it true that i can use a cheap socket that is slightly smaller even if the wheel locks are round.

 

Yea you can probably do that. i personally like to weld a lug or nut to the locking lug to take them off

I had that happen once also and I managed to get them off with an air chisel. Just dont turn the pressure to the max and make sure you watch your rim.
