Prices, however, as you suggest, are dear.

Re: Original replacement center caps
thanks. its up to like close to 200 for all 4 and still my caps are grey and not black. and i know this is a common problem so junkyard is out of the question. i guess i'll just live with it. 2 of them came off after i accidentally jumped a burm on a levy. yikes. some nice new scratches in the front bumper to boot.

Re: Original replacement center caps
Sorry to hear of your loss. I have heard of this before. And that is why I cleanly super glued my WS6 caps on my 91'bird(stock rims).
Hope it continues to hold......

Re: Original replacement center caps
Back when I had stock rims... those center caps were hard to find.
That was over 5 years ago.
I paid $125 for a set I found (new in plastic) on Ebay back then, and two years later... milk gray color.
Aftermarket parts are really hard to find for our 3rd gens.
Toss in a looking for Vert parts and it's nearly impossible!
What we own are soon to become rare collector cars.
Simply because there are not many aftermarket parts available.

Re: Original replacement center caps
I recommend Super Glue.... NOTE> Glue with rims off the car. That way you can get a cleaner look doing it from the inside of the cap...
I fixed it but learn from my mistake. I sanded super glue off my brand new tires and working on the damage to my stock rims.> DRIPS
I glued from the outside. Tires on.
