can i put 15" Z28 wheels on an '86 C4 vette?

i found a suuuuper cheap vette that doesn't have wheels and tires, but i have an extra set of third gen 15" wheels and tires that i could put on if it would work.

Is this something that will fit?

 

Bolt pattern is the same. They should fit.

 

Caliper clearance would be the main thing I would worry about. If you do it, I'd love to see a picture. I've seen lots of Vette wheels on third gens, but never a third gen wheel on a Vette. I'm curious how it would look. In any event, stock Vette wheels go pretty cheap, so even if your wheels don't fit, it shouldn't cost that much to put a set of wheels on the C4.

 

Vette wheels have a diff offset. They'd stick out and look a litlte funky. The bolt pattern is the same though.

The rear brakes should clear fine, the fronts are questionable.
