Indy Gold wheel paint - Expensive!!!

Does anyone know of a good source for buying the OEM Paints Indy Gold wheel paint for the factory IROC wheels? Paddock Performance sells it for $80 a can , and I can't seem to find it anywhere else. I've read that you need 2 cans to restore a set of wheels. $160 for wheel paint seems outrageous to me.

Some other threads mention Classic Industries sells it, but I can only find the California Gold paint, which is a darker color for the early 80s cars.

Has anyone used a different brand / color and had good results?

Is it the same gold as on the older snowflake wheels? Not sure, if so yearone sells that.

are you doing a professional resto? where you will be competing for points? if not, who cares if its the exact same color, just find something close and go with it?

Show points aren't a concern for me. As you said, I am just interested in it looking as close to factory as possible and at a reasonable price. Anyone know of a cheaper paint that is close in color?
