I'm going to look at a set of directional 1996 corvette wheels for sale. I want to put them on my 1992 Camaro. The owner doesn't know if they are 17" by 8 1/2", or 17" by 9 1/2", or 17" by 11", will any of these fit my Camaro? The offset is what concerns me. Thanks

 

Yes, with the right sized adapters.

What size spacers did you use? Also, what size were the wheels and tires? One last thing, do you have any problem with them rubbing when you corner hard?

 

I went with a 2" spacer in the rear and a 2.25" in the front. Wheels are 17x11 with a 7.8" backspace and the fronts are 17x9.5 with a 7.1" backspace. The rear tires are 315/35R17 and the fronts are 275/40ZR17. The front rubs a little in the rear on a hard turn so if you go with a smaller front tire it should get by with no rubbing.

 

The wheels I looked at were 17x11 with a 7.8" backspace on the rear and the fronts are 17x9.5 with a backspace of 7.1". The rear tires are 275/40R17 and the front tires are 245/40R17 so 2" spacers in the rear and 2.25 on the front will work with no problems. Thanks for the information
