215/55/16 on a 9 inch wide rim
Will a 215/55/16 fit on a 9 inch wide rim? The tire measures 9-1/4" from sidewall to sidewall.

its a little narrow for the wheel, might be able to stretch it on, but i wouldn't.
A 9" rim measures about 10" is overall width, a 8" rim measures about 9" in overall width FYI.

looked up the tire size, its not even close to fitting a 9" rim. 7.5 max
