Well I picked up some good 91-92 16x8s and they did not come with any tires. I would love to get the C5 wheels off to sell em to break even with new tires. The options I have is basically leave the car on jackstands or install the tires that are on a set of 98 Cougar wheels. They are 205/50/16's. How would these look? The lowest I have seen was 215/60/16 on these wheels.

Anyone have pictures of any pictures of how it would look? I mean I don't plan to keep them on but if they don't look that bad I might as well have them installed to have for now while I sell the C5 wheels.

 

I also understand 8 inches is 203~mm. So I am sure the fitment would be almost spot on before looking bad.

Anyone have pictures of what it might look like? I might take a wheel and have the tire swapped over and see how it looks.

 

Ford wheels on your GM car??? How you gonna do that? Adapters?

The stock 16 x 8 had 245s & a 205 really wouldn't fit to good. Give ya bad tread wear.

 

I think there is a misunderstanding, I bought a set of 91-92 Z28 wheels without tires. I want to get the C5 wheels I have installed now off to sell them to cover some of my new tire expenses on the new 91-92 Z28 wheels. Only thing close is a extra set of 98 Cougar tires that are on cougar wheels. The tires are 205/50/16. They are Kumho Ecsta AST.

I just wanted to get them installed as just roller tires for now but wondering if they will stretch that bad or enough to want to replace them right away and not even do a simple test drive with them. So I was wondering if there was any pictures available but it seems the only option is getting one installed and seeing for myself but worth a shot to see if someone has tried it on here and saving $30.
