auto-x tire?

anyone have a recommondation for a good auto-x tire for stock gta wheels?
Looking for something around 140 treadwear.

I was looking at these but didn't know how well they would fit: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....6EXS&tab=Sizes

Re: auto-x tire?

I have Kumho XS tires on my Camaro and love them. I have ran them at a few events and ran some very fast times. The car has 275-17s on it with 9.5 inch wide wheels so i have never used the 16 inch stuff. The first lap on the tires are a little slick but after that if you stay on line and keep them clean the tires work very good. The track we run at has banked hairpin turns that needs a lot of rear brake and i have flat spoted the rears and if you lock them up alot, the tires flat spot more then RE50s or the Avans I have ran before. The bottom line is it's a very good tire and if you factor in the price it's a great tire. The street wear also is very good for a autocross tire.
