inflatable spare question

inflatable spare question

i got an aluminum inflatable spare but dont have the canister. will any compressed can of air or maybe even fix a flat work for it or does it have to be the factory canister?

Any compressed air source will work. Even a air pump using the cars power outlet a good choice. DO NOT USE fix a flat in the spare.

After gettin a flat on my way to work! I tried filling mine up with air today And it just inflated towards one side of the rim. Almost like coming off of one side of the tire.. Has this ever happened to anyone before? Is this snormal?? i dont think its ever been inflated
