Tires!!! Looking for a set for the my 88 formula, My firebird sat for 5 years, 2 of those years in a field under pine trees before i bought it from my aunt (bought it in Oct. 2009). The tires i have on it now are Firestone Firehawk FTX's, was told the were brand new before they parked it. There a bit dry rotted, Big reason why i never really got over "freeway speeds" but i drove on them for about 2k, with a few burnouts... lol. so i was saving for Bfgoodrich g-force t/a KDW. but i can't find them in 245/50/16, So now im looking at Hankook Ventus HRII H405, 245/50/16, Has anybody run or is currently running these tires?? trying to get away with under $400 for a set of tires, so i can put more in to the car all round. for your time.

i've used them and like them alot. they stick pretty good in the dry and wet, only downside is a kinda soft sidewall so they arn't as crisp on turn in as some tires, but still grip pretty well once they roll a bit.

for the price i tend to run them alot lol


i order from here isn't they have free shipping and good prices. i seem to remember they were like 60$ last time i got them. blah
