Anyone have these wheels on a third gen?

Going to be buying wheels/tires soon, and would like to see if they would look good on my 83 Trans Am.

I am looking at either these wheels:

Or these:

And, on a side note will these wheels work well on my Trans Am with 275/35/18 tires on all four corners?

Thanks!

With the right sized spacer adapters they will.

I have seen people running 13mm b/s wheels on thirdgens before, what makes these need spacers? Would the front tires be too wide?

Re: Anyone have these wheels on a third gen?

The front 16"s have zero offset. If they had the same spec of the rear 16mm offset wheels, they'd rub. If 16mm offset will rub, 13mm is gonna pushing it.

13mm offset gives them 5.26bs. On the rear you'd be fine, but the fronts would rub. You could get away with just running a slip on spacer, like the factory used for the aluminum brake drum cars.

The 275s might rub at full turn a bit, but nothing to be concerned about. Just don't turn so far. That is what I do.

Ahh okay thank you. I was confusing offset with backspacing, oops!
