gettin these bad boys..
so after deciding i was going to repaint my stock RS wheels (money was tight and i kinda liked the matching paint look) i came across all the third geners here with the C6 corvette rims and they just looked bad ***. i looked all over the place for a set but on craigslist they wer way to expensive. but now ive come across a new awesome paying job (yay for money) and i found this website from another guy on here im going to order these guys for my christmas present to me and my car. :]

im already sure theyll fit (let me know if im wrong) now ive already done my research on here and so far ive seen people use the 2" spacer alot and it works. (once again if im wrong lmk) but all i wunna know is where can i get the spacers. i saw on here people got em from skulte but they dont make em anymore and i cant really find anything and i really dont wunna order the wrong parts. its a stock 89 camaro RS.
also give me opinions on the wheels. my cars red with black hockey stripes. should i go chrome or hyper black, or even just plain black? opinions?

Can't tell anything about those wheels, since that page tells nothing but the name. It tells the price, but add a the price of a set of adapters & compare those combined prices with a set of wheels that actually fit by themselves without adapters.
275/40s are a good fit up front, if the wheel is setting right & depending on if/how lowered your car is.

17x9.5
54mm offset
5x120.65 bolt pattern.
And as of right now my car is not lowered. I'm debating it but pretty sure I'm just gonna leave. Maybe replaces the LCAs and some
Other suspension parts but not gonna lower. Low enough for me already lol

According to Andris's page, Skulte.com you'll want to run 2.25" spacers.
And you think the 275/40s will still fit too?

Re: gettin these bad boys..
Oh alright. I read in here a couple times that people used the 2" but thinking about it it's probably safer to use the 2 and a quarter. Plus I didn't see that chart on skultes when I was reading that stuff. Didn't show up on my phone. Now my question is since skultes doesnt have em anymore where can I get the spacers? I've seen some on eBay that I THINK fit our cars but with eBay I don't like take to take chances especially when it concerns holding my wheel on.

Re: gettin these bad boys..
The 275s will fit. That is what I run up front (315s out back), but you may want to check & see if your rear axle is actually centered or not. I discovered mine was off by almost a full inch, to the drivers side, when I put my 17"s on. If it is off too far, one side may rub & the other side not rub.
do i need to take it somewhere or can i check if its centered myself? i appreciate the info i never would of known this stuff without your help. thanks a whole lot. deff dont wunna mess up when im spending this kinda money.

Re: gettin these bad boys..
Get you a long string & 2 washers. Tie 1 washer to each end, then hang the string across the hatch (easier if it is open) & have each washer hanging about the center of each tire (make the string the right length to achieve this).
By doing so, you'll create a point of reference straight down from the fender, to measure the distance from the tire to the string. This will tell you if your rear axle is centered. I got mine within 1/4". Close enough for me.

I cut my fenderwells to fit 11" wheels & 315s, under each fender on a stock rear axle. So I HAD to buy an adjustable Panhard Bar to do this. In fact, you will have to buy one too. There is no adjustability on the stock PHB.
