Wheel material question

Hey guys this might be kind of a hard question to have answered without having to ask the dealer but im looking to plate and polish a set of wheels off of a 91 z28, the reason im asking is that certain metals may react violently with some of the chemicals that we use. attached is a pic of the wheels to help

Re: Wheel material question

They are ok to plate and polish. I used to work for a bodyshop and we sent lots of these out for P&P.

Re: Wheel material question

also just talked to the process guy at my work and to help find out the alloy of the wheel he said to look for a stamp or casting number, and well i cant do that currently seeing as how im not getting the wheels till tomorrow, so i guess if any one who has these wheels could look for me that would be great otherwise ill just wait til i get the wheels
