ok so my buddie has a 4rth gen rear in his which im putting in mine hes running the zr1 wheels 17x11 with 315 tires it looks real good and i want to get the same look as far as where the wheel sits but i wanna run a 15x10 rim so i am wondering if there is a way to figure out what offset and backspacing i would need with a 10 inch rim to match his 11 inch?

EDIT....
Double check how centered your rear axle is. Mine was off by almost a full inch (to the drivers side) at stock height on stock wheels & tires. Needless to say, I Adjustable Panhard Bar was required.
With a 4th gen rear, a 7" bs should fit right in with minimal metal work, if any, to the inner sheetmetal.
I put 7"bs 11" wheels on my stock 9-bolt rear end & it required some inner metal cutting of things. With a 4" rear end there would have been virtually zero metal work involved.
