refinishing/painting snowflake wheels
Ok Everyone,
Please don't flame me
but I am going to put some 77-81 style snowflake aluminum wheels on my Firebird. They will be either 15-8 all around or 15-7 front and 15-8 rear. What I need help on is how do I strip them and what do I use to repaint them with. I would like to go back with the bright gold to have a contrast with the black I want to paint the car. Yes, the ridges will be taped and polish afterwards. Anyone know the name of the bright gold color? Any tips would be a big help and greatly appreciated.
I can use aircraft stripper and clean but still what type of paint? Name of the bright gold color? Polishing basics I know from other threads. Any other tips? I have time and other wheels are on the car now.
