15x7 Tire questions

I would like to run a decent comon and cheap tire that will actually look good on my rims. I will be running spacers and I believe my back spacing is 3 inches on these particular rims. Spacers are an Inch and a half the wider the better let me know what you guys think and thank you!

I don't understand....why spacers with only a 3" back space? I'd say if you take the spacers off, you might be able to run a P245/60/15 max....

Re: 15x7 Tire questions

If they're Chevrolet 15x7s rather than aftermarket, then you might want a 1/2" spacer. But if so, you're limiting your tire choices. Running the stock wheels with no spacers, a 245/60R15 is no challenge, that's what Chevy did for the pair of '82 Z28s that actually paced the Indy 500.
I'm perfectly happy with 235/60R15 tires, even with the front springs cut. I never checked if I could add any spacers, but I think I'd get some rubbing.

245/60's fit my car fine with stock Z28 wheels - stock height, no spacers needed (why would you want spacers?), no rubbing.

Re: 15x7 Tire questions

Sorry guys they are adapters rather than spacers my rims are the same lug pattern as the full size trucks. But they are mint and I got them all for 100 american racing rims originally got them for my s10 decided building the camaro made more sense. I wouldn't if I didn't have too but I want to do a 3.4 boosted build. I am in love with these rims tho so im kind of stuck with it. This car will only be driven to and from work ( not even a mile lol ). So I guess what ever is going to look best with them on the car. Not even against the fact if they are smaller either way they are guna stick out past the car considering they do by atleast an inch on the s10.

Re: 15x7 Tire questions

Then you may find yourself needing something like a 215/60R15.
