I'm in the process of buying new tires but currently my car has 245/50/16's on it. After doing some research I have found out that the car came with 215/65/15. My car has Iroc rims and didn't know if this is the original rim that came with the car or if the rims were changed at some point. If someone could tell me if this could be the original rims that would be great! thanks in advance.

I have also attached a picture of the rims. It has an Iroc center cap, don't know if it is that visible in the picture or not.

 

No way possible those are original for an 84, someone changed them out sometime in it's life.

 

Alright. That's what I was thinking. Do you by chance have a pic that shows the correct rims. It's a pretty well optioned z28 ho and would liketk get the car as close as possible to the way it was then. Thanks for the quick response.

 

They look close to the same, 1" smaller, and with a wider painted center area on each spoke.

Oh, and they've got a plastic center cap, too.

 

Just put mine on sale locally - they're off my '83, but I'm pretty sure the 84's came with the identical wheels...

You could... But seeing as most members aren't going to still be looking at a thread they posted to 7 years ago, it's usually bad netiquette to bump the post to the top to try to ask that member a question.
