Wheel question
I want to put 17s on my camaro but I don't know how wide to go in the front or real the car is stock height. I also don't know what type of tire I want. I just want something fun that I can corner with an maybe "drift" with. I was thinking 9" in the rear maybe 10" an 8" in front? And I really don't want to run spacers at all. Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Re: Wheel question
For drifting, you want wide wheels and not-so-wide tires. How about 17x9" all around, zero offset, on a set of 245/45R17 tires?
Also, for drifting, you want steel wheels. If your rear wheels smack a curb mid-drift, the steel will bend, not break like aluminum.
Cragar has at least 3 different styles of steel 17x9, with the bolt circle and offset you need, all under $100 each.
Pick a hard compound tire for the rear, with a treadwear number over 400.
