Ok so here is my issue and I believe it to be brake related. I have a 1982 with a 5.7l 350 and I recently purchased a set of 17" C6 wheels and tires along with the adapters. After putting them on I went to move my car and take it for a drive, but the car will not move. I cannot go in reverse and it will go forward a little bit. I did have a friend hold the brake pedal down to snug the lug nuts, but that is about it. any ideas? Any information is appreciated.

 

Spacers not thick enough would have the wheels hard against the struts.

 

I purchased the spacers from Hawk's Third Gen...they are the exact size spacers to be able to use newer style with for the 3rd Gen. I will check that though. Thanks!
