removing Power Steering pressure hose
HELP!! I have a leak in my PS pressure hose in my 1991 3.1L V6 Firebird. I bought the new hose and am ready to install, but I am having major problems simply removing the old hose. I am trying to use an standard open wrench, but it seems that the return hose and other things are in the way. Should I use another tool? Remove the tire for more room? use some liquid wrench to help it along? Let me know what you think!

You need what is called a crow's foot. Using an open end wrench may strip out the head on the fitting.

Re: removing Power Steering pressure hose
if your looking to buy the tool.
its called a line/tubing wrench.
hits more points on the shoulder of the nut.
crows foot is a dif tool altogether
and they also make a crows foot line wrench.
**crows foot looks like just the cut off head of a open end wrench.**
most of the time set up to fit a 3/8 ratchet
