A friend of mine got 4 wheels that he pull off his bmw 530d E39,and i want to know if this wheels will fit on my 82 camaro,if i nee wheel spacer or not,the wheels are 17x7 front and 17x8 rear

 

5 series are a bolt on do get some proper hub centric rings, available on ebay. Measure the wheels center bore and the hub (forgot what size our hubs are)

5 series wheels should be around ET20 to 25 or so.

 

I know that Camaro wheels are 70.5 mm center hub (sorry for millimeter,i'm french) so i must measure bmw center hub,got it!
But do you think i need to put wheel spacer if it fit?

Been done several times. Several theards here.

Depending on the wheels more work may be involved. I had to have my front hub holes machined out, as the hub on the camaro is much longer and would not pass all the way through the bmw style wheels.

 

If you had to have them machined out they were for an older model series with the smaller hibs, most later ones and 5 series have the larger hubs.

 

Well, these were for newer ones, the hub hole was big enough, but on the outside end of the rim, it stepped down to allow that center cap to snap in. Because the camaro hub is longer, it interfered. See my 'can't afford tires yet so I photoshoped wheels," thread for pics.

 

Oh, must be that specific wheel design then, I thought you meant the bore was too small
