C5 wheels spacer and tire questions.
Looking to put a replica set of C5 rims on my 92. the front will be 18x9.5 with 56mm offset and 19x10 with 65mm. now i'm also doing the C5 brake upgrade and was told that will make my rims stick out a 1/4 inch more than stock. i will be lowering the car 1.5 inches as well. Any thought as to what size spacers i will need in the back with a stock 3rd gen rear? i heard all abouth the 4th gen rear axle swap, been looking for one but no luck so I'll keep whats under the car for now. also what size spacers up front, and what size tires will work with this set up? I don't want to roll my fender/quater lips unless i have to. thanks for all of your time.

Re: C5 wheels spacer and tire questions.
Ive been doing a lot of research as well. most people are running 2" spacers. On the front you realize your gonna have to run a 265 wide tire or close to that. The is pretty wide for the front.
I was considering going 18X8.5 up front and 18X9.5 in the rear, but I cant find the rims in 18X8.5 so may have to go 17X8.5 in front or 18X9 if I can find it.
I think I read that the guys with 10" wide in the rear had to modify the inner fenders. Theres a whole thread about it with tons of different setups.

with c5 brakes upfront and a 3rd gen rear out back, you need 1.75" spacers up front and 2" in the rear

I'm REALLY low running that setup (well 8.5" wide up front), the rear will work for sure (maybe need a little hammering but i doubt it i didn't need it), as for the front you'll have to try it but I have no issues (245x35 series tires) and i'm LOW, as in I'm on the bump stops all the time in the front.
Try you regional board and see if someone close will let you borrow a set of spacers (maybe trade some beer or something?) and try it out
