E-Bay spacer fitment

I'm looking at these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/360435504242...#ht_4383wt_932
which are hub centric which is the safest option from what I've read in other threads. The only problem is that it says that these may not fit the fronts on thirdgens due to the hub size. Does anyone use these or know the hub dimensions/ will these work on an 84 Trans Am?

70.2-3 mm is the hub. However the front hub is very long and that's where you run tino issues withe the spacer not having the center bored large enough all the way through

Re: E-Bay spacer fitment

Okay thanks man. I ended up going with some non-lipped hub centric e-bay pieces with a 70.5 center bore. I've seen some debates on lips vs no lips... I'm going to be running 10 spoke 4th gen Camaro wheels and dding the car with occasional hard backroads driving and a couple autox's on sticky street tires. I'm going to torque the adapter nuts and the lug nuts at work with a torque wrench at 100 ft-lbs for both sets. Is this a decent and safe setup? And if I use the tapered lug nuts there shouldn't be any vibration right?

This is the listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/280828129727...S:3160&vxp=mtr

I already ordered them because they were the only cheap option and I want the new wheels on ASAP but if there are any red flags I'll send them back and drop the coin on the ones from Hawk's... $130 more + shipping is hard to swallow if I'd just be getting the same thing though.

Re: E-Bay spacer fitment

you HAVE TO USE TAPERED NUTS since thats what they are made for, anything else will be outright dangerous.

I usually do around 70-80 ft/lbs. Just be sure to re torque the inner nuts a few times after some miles to make sure they stay tight.

the adapters look fine, they ar billet. but stronger lugs would be good to have added to them
