Used BFG G-force Drag radial
I have a chance to pick up a pair of BFG GForce Drag radials used for a pretty sweet deal in a 295/35r18.
Owner says that they are half worn, but I feel like 2/3 is a little more accurate description. I really just wanna try them for this summer, and see if I really feel like a Drag radial is what I want/need back there.
Is there anything I should be concerned with when getting a pair of used drag tires... other the obvious... damage, dry rot, patches, plugs?

Nobody even wants to tell me they suck and I should get Micky Thompsons, or that for $50 this is an amazing deal haha.
Thought there might be one opinion on it.

OK, if one has a spare set of 18" wheels already on hand (or, do they come with wheels?), it would be a pretty good deal. Slap them on & go see if the car hooks better, assuming traction is an issue.
I had a set of BFG DR's back in the mid - late '90s....they didn't do much for my car traction-wise ( totally blew them off with ~250 rwhp/ 330rwtq / stock torque converter), and that was running them at a semi-prepped track, the fabled Los Angeles County Raceway strip of Palmdale California.
But, for $50 (PLUS gas- ouch), you could have a couple days 'o fun of doin' long smokies...

. I think I am gonna run them for this summer, and see how I like them. My rears are almost gone anyway, so needed to do something. Smoky burnout may be in my future for these tires...
