OE wheels c5 rim questions

I'm looking at a used set of these rims with tires, only problem is that I don't know if they'll fit and they're 3.5 hours away. the price is good though.. 17x9.5 fronts 18x10.5 rears with 275/40/17 up front and 305/35/18 on the rears. I know thats some serious rubber and I just don't know if my car can stuff it, I'm currently lowered about 1-1.5 inches if that matters at all.

thanks for any insight guys, Tim

You will need bolt.on adapters for both wheels. The rear will fit, and is common enough, but will require a little clearancing and a adjustable panhard bar.

If the price is really good, worst case sell them and profit

awesome, already have the adjustable panhard bar from lowering it! I don't mind a little trimming.. any idea if the front will clear? or what size adapters I'll need? seems like everyone is running 1.5-2 inch spacers with c5 rims

2 inch adapters for the front. The 305s are going to be a tight fit. I'm running 295s on a 4th gen rear, same wheels from OE, and its a very tight fit.

Uh, how can anyone say off they fit without knowing the offset? IIRC they offer a couple different offsets.

because regardless of the offsets, they all will require bolt on spacers since the are for a c5 and that fitments has too much positive offset. They will fit on the car, but will require spacers. The size of the spacer will depend on the wheels actual spec so its a little premature to say you defiantly need this or that spacer until you have and can measure the wheel, but they will work on the car one way on another.
