Re: newbie with wheel question
Your first post is wheels? Seriously? Are you still in High School? Not subframe connectors, or a big-brake upgrade? Especially with a 454! Which way you decide to go with brakes will affect wheel choice. Or more likely, spacer thickness. If spacers are even legal in your state, because in Utah they're not.

Re: newbie with wheel question
Atilla The Fun brought up a couple of very valid points to be thinking about. These cars flex alot so subframe connectors should be high on your list of add ons. Especially with a big block. The stock rear drums aren't much to speak of either. With more power comes a responsibility to make sure it can stop good also.
As for what can fit? You can fit any 2nd gen or 3rd gen F body wheel directly. 4th gen wheels with a spacer that may or may not be legal for you. Most of the 5 bolt rear wheel drive GM car wheels will fit but may require a spacer. It may serve you well to think of what you might do for a brake upgrade and that can help dictate what diameter wheel you can use.
Use the search feature to try to learn more about this.
Good Luck

Good deal on the IROC wheels. With the frame connectors already you are in much better shape. We all understand not being able to do everything at one time but we do want you to have a safe dependable car too.
If the wheels need cleaning or polishing there is very good info on it in the detailing and appearance section.
