different tire options?

what are some different tire options that i can get on my stock 15s? right now i have goodyear weatherhandler 215-65-R15s and i have a nice size chunk out of my front passenger side sidewall and my tires need replacing anyways. im looking for another tire that has less sidewall and is skinnier i guess is what im looking for. im going to post a link to a set of kumho ecsta tires and the picture showing the tires is about the size i want and the design im looking for. are these comfortable to ride on? or should i stick with the 65" side walls i have for the added height and comfort? my car is also a DD

Re: different tire options?

By far the best tires I ever put on my Z-28 are my BF Goodrich T/A Radials. I've had a set for my Z-28 for about 15 years. They handle really well and grip the road like no other tire I have had on any car.

Re: different tire options?

I have a set of Cooper GLSs on mine, and I like them. They were recommended to me by a friend of mine who got something like 80,000 miles on one set, if longevity means anything. They grip well, but I can't really compare them to the dry rotted crap tires that were on the care for the first few months of my driving it.

That would be a higher profile.
