Do I need spacers?

My 92 camaro z28 has a 97' rear in it. Right now the rear wheel stick out alot I'm guessing because the 97' rear is wider. So I was looking to put some Corvette C5 wheels from an 00'-04'. I've been reading people put 2"-2.5" spacers. I know I will put at least 2.25" in the front. Would I still need to put a spacer in the back being that the rear is already wider?

Re: Do I need spacers?

Spacers are needed for 4th gen/Vette wheels on a 3rd gen rear car. With a 4th gen rear, you will not need the spacers unless you want your wheels to set out even further.

Grab some 4th gen wheels & the rears will no longer stick out.

BUT.......To run matching front wheels? You will need 2 spacers to put on 4th gen/Vette wheels on the front.
