Thinking about purchasing these wheels.
Thinking about purchasing these wheels.
I am looking at buying these wheels.
Stern ST2
F 18x8.5 + 13mm
R 18x9.5 + 15mm
5x120mm bolt patern.
What tire size should I get and, will this rub during turns?
Everywhere im reading people are giving mixed reviews on if the 5x4.75 will work with 5x120mm?
Any thoughts?
Thank you for the help,
-Dan

I personally think they look like they belong on an import

How about putting up a link instead of just the name? Google takes us to a bunch of links & we'd rather not look through the links to find a pic.
Or better yet? Just put the pic here on TGO for people to see & not hafta go anywhere to see them.

I was thinking about it but decided against it. The center cap probably won't clear the hub.

They look good. Get them and then post pics. I would get wheel adapters though. You won't have to worry about breaking any studs.
Get 245/45R18 for the fronts and 275/45R18 for the rears. Call the company to see if they will rub.
This style rim being an import style is perception because most cars now have the same basic shape. We don't have 40s or 50s cars with those big fins. Plus, it will definitely set you apart.

Re: Thinking about purchasing these wheels.
As for bolt pattern wise, it all depends on what you feel is safe. many people have ran the bolt pattern and have been fine. others say just to correct it or use spacers (5x4.75 to 5x120). honestly it all depneds on you what you think is good. just keep in mind that you do run the risk of not having proper spacing on the wheel..

Not a big fan of them. To me 6 spoke wheels look best on mid engine or AWD cars. So RWD platforms can pull it off but the F-body isn't one of them. I also don't like the convex face.
