tires

i just bought 255/70R15 tires for the rear end for my 87 Z28 camaro, i just want to know for sure if they're going to fit, height wise. please respond, thank you.

not sure on the fitment, but those things are gonna be like truck tires, they're almost 4in taller then the stock 16" wheel/tire combo

Plenty of serious drag cars run 29" x 11" slicks, so fit isn't the problem. If you're doing it to reduce cruise RPM, forget it, the extra drag offsets the lower RPM. Plus despite the width it hurts handling. And it reduces rear braking power. Sell them and get some 255/60s instead.
