C6 wheels...need a clear answer for the rear spacers
I have searched and searched for info on the rear spacer thickness to run with C6 wheels and I see everything from 2.25-3"
What's the final verdict? I'm ready to order a set but I want to be sure I get the right ones. Right now I'm leaning towards 2.5" but I want to hear what some of you guys are running.
BTW I'm am running the OE C6 wheels, 18x8.5 front and 19x10 in the rear.

do you have tires yet? How aboutl a tape measure and osme jack stands?
Measure the cars ride height from the center of the wheel to the fender opening
Jack up the car, take a wheel off, lower the car to its ride height.
place the new wheels in the wheel well, check clearance, and measure back t o the rotor for the spacer thickness.
That way you dont have to wait for somebody to give you a "guess" and leave you with no idea where anything will end up once they are installed.
you going to want about 6 or 6.25" of BS with those wheels, so you can even measure the current back spacing and figure the spacer that way too. 6.5 and 6.25 will require a little bit of hammering and a adjustable panhard bar. 6 should bolt right on with almost nothing, but will be about flush with the outside of the wheel well.
That is why its best to measure your self, you can see where the wheel will be sitting and judge for yourself what will look better and fit better

im running 1.75 inch spacers with 275s. but it took alot of beating to get them to fit. i wanted mine to tuck. a 2 inch should be fine.

Well just got done taking some measurements. It looks like a 3" spacer would give me the same clearance as stock, but it puts the wheel too far out. A 2.5" spacer would look better and still give me enough room on the inside. If I lower the car later down the road it looks like I'd still have to roll the fender lip.
BTW I'm running a Moser 9" at stock 3rd gen width with LS disc brakes.
Hope this helps others.

Your measurements will be the best way to fit the wheels because of the moser rear. I have a moserf 9 as well and at 'factory' width, it 1/2" shorter on each side than my old 10 bolt.

Re: C6 wheels...need a clear answer for the rear spacers
Well an update, I got the 2-1/2" spacers in the mail today and just bolted everything up. The rear axle was off a hair, not a big deal since I have an adjustable panhard bar. I found this out because the passenger side wheel was bound up against the body. With it all centered up it rubs slightly in the common front lower corner. I could probably just hammer it in slightly or give it a nice professional notch. I will look at it some more this weekend when the weather warms up a little.
