Buying new IROC chrome replicas?

Axle/Gears: 3.42
Buying new IROC chrome replicas?
As the thread title says I am going to buy my 1987 Camaro a new set of wheels.
The car now has some old set of 18" IROC chrome wheels which has seen their best days. The chrome plating are chipping off and they have some damage to them as well.
Anyway I am just curious if I should go with 17" or just stick with 18".
Does anyone have any pictures of a thirdgen with 17" iroc chrome replicas?
I am curently running 245/40/18 on the iroc rims I got now but was thinking of changing to 245/45/17 if I am buying 17"s.
What do you suggest?...I mean thinking of handling/traction and such?
Any comment are highly appreciated.
