Opinions please.
I have a 1991 Camaro RS that I want to change the wheels on eventually. I currently have the factory IROC 16" x 8" wheels with 245/50/ZR16" tires on the car right now. While I like the look of the Corvette and 4th Gen SS wheels on the 3rd Gen Camaro I realize that spacers are needed in order to put these sets of wheels on the car. My concern or question centers around using these spacers, how safe / reliable are these? While I could swap over to a 4th gen rear end, I would prefer not to do this since I have completely rebuilt my 3rd Gen rear including the bearings, seals, diff, gears, and utilized a TA Performance stud girdle diff cover.
What are your opinions on the spacers? What are your experiences with them? If you use them what brand do you have installed? Which brands do you recommend to stay away from?
Thanks in advance,
David
