conversion chart

I know this would be quite time consuming but we all should crest a list of wheels that fit our cars WITHOUT modifications.
I know s-10 rims fit. And some older vette ones will too.
We should make a sticky of the list once its done.
Like will any Cadillac rims fit? What about exotics like Ferrari?
Let's make a list guys.

Re: conversion chart

I consider modifications to be spacers, so if that were the case, only a few wheels would qualify.

very few ..

i think custom wheels should count as a modification also ..
a more appropriate title would be

You can't really count custom wheels as modifications - if you can get them and stick them on without any issues, it would qualify. $5k for a set is an entirely different story.

What I know fits in 17":

Ronal Firehwark wheels
CTW Motorsports wheels
TT2 with the right BS
Weld RT-S forged with the right BS

I'm sure there are others.

Nothing factory is going to work on these cars - unless it came with them from GM. The new GM cars all have BMW lug patterns, center bores, and BS (like my LaCrosse).

Re: conversion chart

Why not there not off the self type thing to buy at any tire/wheel store I guess its a gray area lol
You have to measure and send in you info of what you want .then they make a wheel for you . And at $5k might not be a modification to the car but for sure your pocket

Then there's wheels like welds where you just pick and choose size and offset which isn't custom and more off the self

Re: conversion chart

Just was wondering if things like Cadillac rims, Buick or other stock rims for other cars would fit ours.
I don't really care for the torque thrust look so was looking for something other than my black centerline outlaws.
Anything would be better than these solid rims..

Re: conversion chart

if it has the GM 5X4.75 pattern, it will probably fit.. unless it's for a later model car- C5 Vette, etc- which use a lot more backspacing...

i don't think i've ever seen them on a 3rd gen, but i bet a set of 70's Vette 15X8 steel rally wheels would look badass with the center caps left off..
