Anyone have pics of a white IROC or Z28 with solid black wheels???

I am thinking about powder coating my ROH Drift-Rs solid black to put on my white 92 Z28.

 

The rims will disappear. Black spokes/centers & polished lips will work though. That's how my Snypers are.

But I do agree with the previous post... a little something, so they're not all black adds a nice touch so they don't "disappear"...

I saw a recent post with a black camaro, aftermarket 5 point star rims with chrome lip, looked tight!

I had the lip of mine polished, then clear powdercoated...

the black rims do look nice with chrome lips in my opinion i had some my self but i just recently got all chrome boss 304's for my white 84 sc and it looks amazing to me. a white car with all chrome rims. when i get good pics i'll post

 

 

heres my 92 camaro with the stock 92 rims i wanted something diffrent so i painted the rims black with red strips in the middle

 

they look alot better than stock good job man

If those had polished lips, I think they'd be oustanding!

 

They started out as the gray with polished lip Drift Rs. And I have a set of black Gorilla lock nuts going on this week (just got them in the mail). And the tires are 295/35-18 BFG KDW2.

I have seen too many like that. AND, these wheels are going on my arctic white 92Z in a couple of weeks. Everything on the 92 is gonna be black and white only. I have been saving a set of my stainless emblems just for this (they are getting coated black)

 

Maybe....Black centers w/white lips, instead of polished then?

I've just never liked the way solid black wheels disappeared in the black tires & black wheel wells.

But...As long as YOU like YOUR car, that's what is important.

 

lol.... I've never actually been a fan of all black rims, but I have had tons of compliments on my car just in the few days they have been on. People driving through the parking lot at work slowing down to stare at her.... gives me good feelings.

 

I LOVE the full blacked out look im curently looking for a place to powdercoat my wheels or just get some new one ...so if anyone knows any places around md let me know!

I going with matte gunmetal centers black lip as tire and wheel gets lost
Im 50/50 on the look... its not like Wow that looks amazing... but it also doesnt look ugly
