according to their configurator the rear can only fit a 18x8 but i spoke with one of their wheel reps and they went around the computer and got me the 18x9, no rubbing issues at all.

thanks for the complements!

Nice!!! I like the idea that carid searched out and found that the 18x9 fit without rubbing. With those wheels you can put almost any big brake set up you want. BTW any spacers needed?

Knowing these wheels, I wouldn't say that.

Wheel barrel to brake caliper contact is one issue (and probably isn't a problem with these), but the rear of the spokes hitting the front of the caliper face is another. I remember seeing a pic on here recently of this style wheels with a smaller brake kit and you could just fit a key between the caliper face and wheel spoke.

CARiDs website is pretty good when it comes to that, plus their staff is great at what they do. they will gaurentee fitment for you. on my set i did have to sign a clause since it was considered a "custom" fitment, ive found their computer system is a bit on the cautious side. when i ordered rims for my 4thgen it did the same thing and i knew for sure theyd fit.

as for breaks, they are always the last thing to get upgraded when they should be the first lol. honestly though with my driving habits i havent been saying gosh i wish i had more breaks, so at this point ill leave them at that
