what size spacers do i need?

what size spacers do i need?
I know this has been asked a lot but I need to really be sure of what I need. I have 2000 c5 corvette replicas they are 17" I keep seeing that people put 2" spacers but I wanted to know if they rub at a full turn, and also if 2.5" spacers will make the wheels stick out too much?

well you know this has been discussed already why don't you just search the board, it has been answered. generally people agree that a 2in spacer will be perfeect. for those who like a more aggressive look "poke" then 2.5 is what you want, you will rub
