So LS1 brakes add about .300 to each side of the front.

I was thinking, running a 1.5" spacer in the front, and 2.25" in the rear would work and give the car somewhat a staggered appearance.

What do you think?

Seems legit. Whats the offset on 16x8? I run 18x8.5 4th gen /c6 vette sizes with a 1.75" front with ls1 c5 brakes and it sits nice just inside the fender. 1.5 would tuck them more and may hit wells lock to lock. Mine does touch nearer full lock with a 255 tire

Rears typically only need 2" max for 8-9" wide 4th gen wheels. .25 more would give you a staggered look like thirdgen wheels on 4th gen rear ends

6.875" BS on the 4th gen 16x8.

Interesting about hitting the wheel wells. I have Spohn A-Arms and LS1 rotors. With FRONT WS6 thirdgen rims they hit the wheels on full lock. With the rear wheel on the front, which tucks more, it doesn't hit the well.

I can see that now that i think about it. I stand corrected. Tuck in will leave the outer tire wall closer to hub and further from well. My car has tube k and tube a-arms now and needs steering stops adjustment. Its in high drift mode now lol

I had to play with it for a bit to get it to not whack the fender. Some caster adjustments, and different wheel offset and it works well. I still need to weld steering stops on.

I think if you have too much tuck, it will hit the tie rod right? Can't win

Now I've got to make an adapter for my old coats 1010 tire machine, it can't deal with the 4th gen backspace

What do you think? Staggered or trailer park?

i agree with above posts, 1.5 in the front may rub the insides, you would be better suited with a 2in in the fronts and 2.5 in the rear for a staggered look. as for trailer park? not at all, id be tickled pink with that fitment

The 1.5" up front seem to work well with the LS1 rotors. I've got quite a bit of clearance before hitting the tie rod, and the tire is tucked enough that it won't hit the fender on full lock.
