Delinte vs Nitto vs Falken

Im looking for tires to mount to 20x8.5" Iroc wheels for my 86' Z28 and would like some opinions. I want some low pro 245/30/20 tires. The tires I am considering are the Delinte Thunder D7's, the Nitto Neo Gen's, and the Falken FK452's. After reading up on reviews, my personal opinion on tires to purchase would be the Nitto Neo Gen tires because they seem to be a respected tire even though some reviews state that they do not last as long as higher priced competitors. After doing some research on the Falken tires, they are obviously the best brand compared to the other two but most reviews on them are made by enthusiasts who plan to track or push their ride to the limit. I do not plan on driving in an aggressive manor, at least for a year, because I have a 305 and just want to get the most life out of it before I replace with a stout 350. On the other side, Delinte Thunder D7 tires are the cheapest and if I don't need a performance based tire, why pay more for a brand name tire when one is not needed. Which tire would suit my needs appropriately?

Two questions:

1) Why 20"? You will not get the best performance out of them (optimum is 17" and 18")

2) Are you looking for handling, straight line grip, or looks?

I got a smokin' good deal on the 20's and yes, I understand they will not give me much performance. I don't plan on racing my car. I plan on going 18" forged when I restore her but for now I'm going big 20's. I would like a tire with decent to good life is my biggest concern.

nittto neo gens are ok, forget delintes. ive never been a huge fan of falkens. ive had good experience with continental DWS if you can afford them i assume you are going with 245/30/20 sizes with a 20x9?

they last twice as long and are a great all around performer

Re: Delinte vs Nitto vs Falken

If you're not keeping the 20's I wouldn't waste the extra 2-300 bucks for the nittos or falkens. Looks like the delintes go for about 100 a pop on ebay and the like, with the money you save you could put it towards some other mod.

Paying for expensive performance tires on a car that isn't going to see a track or autox or anything that they would be useful for is just wasted money. IMHO.
