Rare WS6 Wheels?
Hey guys,
How rare are the third 88-92 Formula WS6 Wheels? I attached a photo: http://www.barrett-jackson.com/stagi...nt_3-4_Web.jpg
I ask because I have a set I picked up a few years back from a Pontiac Dealer. They were taken off a new car when sold in 1989, tossed in the attic, and forgotten about till they closed down in 2010. I am debating running them on my car, but they are Flawless. Anyone have a value of what they have been going for on here, or how often they pop up? I looked a little, but didnt see any. Any info would be great.

eh, they arent that rare/desirable. to those that are doing restorations they are worth it but otherwise they are just rims, to me atleast. id say you could get 350-400 for them

Re: Rare WS6 Wheels?
They were standard on the Formulas with the WS6 suspension - many were made.
But, it is extremely difficult to find a mint set - most have dent/curb rash or they have not been maintained properly and there are clearcoat issues.
Another item to consider is the extremely limited tire selection in the 245-50-16 size that came on those wheels - not too much left now, less in the future I bet.

Re: Rare WS6 Wheels?
Always thought it was dumb how Pontiac chose to put the deeper lip rim in the front lol
Those are the wheels I picked up locally for my car. Paid $200 for the set, with good tires. Bought new centers on the 'bay for them. Not a spot of damage on them but I'm on the hunt for two more fronts to mount in the rear.
