Odd Wheels

Hi, I'm new to the forum and am new to owning a Camaro honestly. But I bought an 89 RS and the previous owner installed different tires on it. It has 14 inch rims with a 245/65/r14 tire size. Now thats a hard tire to find, and not really cheap, but i just dont kno why he would have put that on. Is it to make it a wider/more grip tire? or no reason and I should just go back to the 15s. Thanks.

Re: Odd Wheels

That size tire was a popular size back in the day. 14inch tires are getting harder to find now a days. You could do a 235/60/14 or a 215/70/14 or 205/70/14. Or like you said switch to 15inch or larger to open up more options. good luck

Re: Odd Wheels

Ya I actually found stock rims with 2 great tires for 140 bucks. So pretty pumped about that.
